Nicole Richie and Joel Madden: Is There a Wedding in the Works?

Are they or aren't they? After rumors abounded that longtime lovebirds Nicole Richie and Joel Madden would tie the knot this past weekend, the two appear to still be unmarried. But is their wedding just around the corner? HTV spotted the mom and dad of two out and about in Los Angeles on Monday, with Joel giving the thumbs up when asked about his upcoming nuptials, and Nicole going incognito in hat and sunglasses as she visited the gym. Deepening the mystery, Nicole tweeted Friday that she was in NYC, when many in Hollywood believed that she would marry on Saturday in the L.A. area. The buzz is that the couple threw many Hollywood paparazzi for a loop, as the photogs spent a long weekend waiting around to snap pics of an event that never happened.
